Emirates Stakes Day

I Must Have Died and Gone to Christines

When invited to meet the wonderful talent of Mr Philip Treacy I had no idea that I would sent down a little staircase in Flinders lane to a luxury heaven to meet one of the most brilliant fashion Icons of our time.  While waiting to get the photo I was asked to get of Christine and Philip Treacy, I was able to swan around the store of luxury and taking in the opulent surrounds.  Ladies, Christines has Philip Treacy hats at the most reasonable prices that you know the most well to do ladies in Melbourne will be sporting this Spring Carnival not to mention the highly coveted BUG! Madam Virtue Saturday 23rd October

What is a girl to do???  There are no fashions at Tatts Cox Plate so I am left to my own devices on Saturday in Melbourne.  My husband and children are engrossed in both Dora and Racing and I just needed a little pal time.  Of course where else would I go but to look through the endless racks of couture, labels and vintage at Madam Virtue.  Always there to greet me is the fabulous Dean Hewitt and the most gorgeous gal pal Maude!  (Maude also has 4 legs)  This is the most divine shop in one of those little alley ways in Melbourne, once discovered it is known as a treasure chest of Melbourne's best loved fashion secret.  Meeting Anthony Capon made the day real and special taking time out to sip a glass of French bubbles then Earl Grey Tea.  I am blessed with these dear friends and loved not having to wear make up or dress up, just chat and be me.  Thank you my darling friends.  Mwah!
