How to enter – men's and women's racewear
Entering is as simple as turning up on the day, filling in a registration form and handing it to event staff during the registration times. Registration is free.
Judging criteria – men's and women's racewear
A Panel of judges will base their votes on the following criteria:
Style and originality
Appropriateness of the outfit for the Winter Racing Carnival and the individual
Attention to detail with accessories
Understanding and interpretation of the current fashion trends
Grooming and deportment
Suitability of the outfit for the season
How to enter – Milliner award
Judging criteria – Millinery award
A panel of judges will base their votes on the following criteria:
Style and design of the millinery (elements including originality, concept of the design theme and wearability)
Quality and workmanship of the millinery (elements including technique, line and trim)
Appropriateness of the millinery for the Winter Racing Carnival
Suitability of the millinery for the individual and in complementing the entire outfit.

If the following criteria are not met, competition entry may be refused:
Contestants must be 18 years of age or more.
Contestants must be dressed in appropriate racewear.
Female contestants entering Women's Racewear competition must wear headwear
Contestants and/or their outfits are not permitted to have any commercial agenda.
Contestants must not receive any compensation from a third party for entering.
Prize-winners are not permitted to transfer their prizes to a third party.
