When it comes to 'A' list and fashionable, there is no other ladies luncheon that even comes close to the Oaks ladies luncheon.  Everyone was adorned with their favourite millinery and that perfect frock that had been picked out 2 months in advance, but of course no one says that.  The tickets are the hottest item in not just Melbourne, but Australia usually having ladies sitting waiting to talk to the VRC early in September and selling out within 10 - 12 minutes.  This is the event.  I must admit the talking point at the table was my GMK cuff with everyone having to have a go, they are a must accessory for right now!

Not only was it the most stylish lunch and hottest ticket there were the usual faces as well as the perfect Philip Treacy.  He is such an honourable gentleman that I was cringing during some of the speech with Hamish Somebody asking ridiculous questions.  Hamish Whoever, do you even know the genius who is standing in front of you???  Obviously Not!

Sonia Kruger and Ann Peacock as always did an outstanding MC and with delight we were swept into the world of Il Divo, as you can see I was quite taken as the whole room was with these gentlemen.  Sarah Jessica Parker was lovely and humble although being a stickler with hats, she should have had her hair UP!  Another Prime example is a hat wearing somebody, when you wear a hat you have to believe that the hat is part of you and Sarah Jessica Parker although she was a delight and beautiful she was totally swamped in Treacy's masterpiece.

I loved having a chat with the wonderful Megan Castran that always seems to dazzle me with her gorgeous face and smile and to top the day off we were voted the best dressed table.  The only gentleman at the table was most impressed.  I had a wonderful day with my mum and friends from FNQ, and the media was not well behaved when all contestants of Australian, 'Myer Fashions on the Field' came along for their photo, people were meowing in the background.  Look what the cat dragged in.  Pull yourself UP!
