Oh, how wonderful Spring Carnival is, but what was up with the weather on Thousand Guineas Day? Giving us a good soaking to see a couple of mudlarks get up. Robbie Griffiths had a wonderful run with Spurcific paying a nice $13 for the win. Good to have a spare $50 on that one. I was so excited to have a girly luncheon looking at all the stunning fashion, but alas not to be. A phone call from my wonderful mum babysitting told me my 2 year old was terribly ill. She is on the mend now, but had a terrible day Wednesday, so family always must come first and I bolted to the winning post to collect my husband to leave. I think that dash could have taken on a few fillies. What I did see, I loved, and Perri Cutten is my new favourite I have to say. Finally a beautiful line where I don't think, "Well, yes the models look great, but life after children in that dress, no way." what a refreshing line for ladies the right side of fabulous. I spoke to many ladies that believed that was a parade that understood a mature ladies perspective of fashion. Ladies you all looked beautiful with gorgeous smiles all round. Thank you for being your fabulous selves.
