With the past couple of years at Tatts Cox Plate being over 30 degrees, I thought there is no way we can see a repeat of the horrid Caulfield Cup weather. But true to Melbourne weather, we had chilling wind, drizzling rain, then a burst of sunshine in the afternoon. Really, who would be mad enough to live in this state. Definitely not the girl going for her hat trick in fashions on the field, Kelli Odell. The gorgeous Kelli comes from Sydney with her beautiful mum Terri and is really showing Melbourne how it is done. Last week, Kelli scooped the pool at Caulfield Cup and now she will be heading back up to Sydney in a new Nissan, Congratulations Kelli, you are Syndey's most stylish. I was so happy to see the winner in a beautiful Coral piece. Poise and elegance were paramount and I must admit Kelli did it so well. I loved chatting to everyone on the day and last weeks 2nd runner up Natalie who I really got to know well, it is so refreshing when you meet like minded people who are all so humble. Vanessa Gore always stands out in fantastic millinery and has always beautiful couture pieces adorning her head. Being plus size does not deter Vanessa, it makes her more determined and good on you Vanessa, because with your height if you were a size 10 you would be so out of proportion. Your proportions are beautiful. Ladies, never look at your dress size, look at your proportions. I love the quote from some like it hot, talking about Marilyn Monroe, saying, "Its like jello on legs". You see the gorgeous Marilyn sashaying down a train platform. I would much rather be a happy Marilyn than a hungry size 0. Looking forward to Melbourne Cup Carnival. Thank you so much to Moonee Valley, a wonderful day was had by all.
