One thing is for sure, if there are horses or not you are still going to see a marvel of colour at the Gold Coast Turf Club. We had a phantom meeting and the only animals that dared go neat the track were a couple of birds.
Ladies day was glamour piled on and wonderful to see all my beautiful friends. Of course Dale Olsson from the Hat Box, and all the colourful gals that make my time on the Coast the place where I want to be. I must admit the gorgeous Josephine Juliano was a typical Melbournian wearing her black and white, but amazing Emilo Pucci shoes I may add.
Best hat was taken out by a multi coloured, multi feathered piece by Julieand Tania from Sydney took out her second title of fashions on the field in an Alex Perry Lace, Beaded Feathered piece. I was naughty enough to ask the price, to have the answer, “It was worth every dollar.” Ladies on the Coast, don’t be daunted by Tania returning for Magic Millions Day as she will not be able to make it. She is keeping us in touch with the tips though. Tania has donated part of her Prize to the Street Party on Friday for the relief of the Flood Victims.
Having a ball with Racing Fashion TV, where I interviewed the Gold Coast Socialite Katrina Jones and Scott Prince with I sure every on the Coast is familiar with. (Remember the Titan’s) Not so easy for us Mexican’s with our AFL.
I was checking out everyone’s shoes and especially Regina King’s, as I do have shoe envy. Vicky Chatfield had the ultimate accessories right down to her toe nails. Lets say there were a few hits and a few misses, you make up your own mind, but thank you ladies for getting so dressed up. At times I was not sure if it was fashions or Burlesque????
