Cairns Cup, what can I say? Annaland is here and here to stay, so come and enjoy the ride. Let me explain to all my dear new friends of FNQ. Annaland is a wonderful place where everyone is welcome and we all love each other and never upset other people. We leave that to nasty land.
I can only say ‘Thank you’, to the amazing Amanda Macor for the initial invite months ago. I was not sure if I was going to be able to make it up here, but as chance had it, our annual holiday to Qld was put on hold due to a death in the family of our dear Eva, Stephens Step Mother. (RIP)
We decided we wanted sunshine and relaxation for our family and have been holidaying in Port Douglas only to realize this place is heaven and we are not returning. I am in the process of hiring a full time nanny and commuting to all the major race meets around Australia to keep Racing Fashion TV on it toes. Ladies of Cairns and FNQ, I almost take my hat off to you. The standard of fashion is exceptionally high, even when race goers are sitting to watch they should be on stage, they look fabulous. All the judges were in agreement with the judging although maybe different placing. That is great that we all agreed, but we really wanted to give everyone awards. You truly are all beautiful and as I say you all looked like you were having fun. That is what it is about. You smiled on stage beautifully and would have to say you were the most relaxed bunch I think I have ever seen and the most gracious. There were a few shocks including a T-Shirt of yellow G string, yes, there is always one. I enjoyed my time immensely and sorry to my new FNQ friends, I am here to stay, so hold onto the seats of Annaland and enjoy the happiness and positivity because I saw greatness amongst every contestant. Even G string man, although I think he may already be aware of his greatness. Thank you FNQ, you are a beautiful city and a special Thank you to Stephanie at Reds Salon for making sure my hair was on trend and of course Amanda Macor of Brow Babes who not only made me look and feel fabulous, she ran this event with a fabulous breath of fresh air. Thank you Amada for my make up, I felt so special and privileged to have you do my makeup and give you a heart attack while I was doing a little extra filming. I love Cairns and FNQ! And a happy FNQ to you to! x
