What a fantastic Carnival we are in the midst of having, the fashions have fantastic with heaps of colour, but of course it would not be a competition without someone saying I don't agree. But hey, that is why we are all human and we express ourselves through our garments.
I did do allot of back stage interviewing on Melbourne Cup Day and spent the photo finish walking up to the terrace to meet with my husband. I must say it is not only the ladies in fashions on the field, but generally everyone is looking beautiful with exception to one lady barefoot vomiting in the bushes, bending over showing everything! I mean EVERYTHING! Oh dear.
I had the wonderful honour of having met Philip Treacy a few times a week prior and I had honestly been so embarassed by the foolish comments some comentators talked about that I actually just wanted to leave this artist alone. I was blessed when he walked past and said, “Anna, would you like to interview with me for your show?”
Yes I was in shock to; so for Racing Fashion TV hatmakers and milliners, I do have an interview with Philip Treacy although I just tried as hard as I could. Congratulations to all the winners and the competitors on the day. A total pleasure.
