The Millinery Award this year did not disappoint me in any way. The only way I have been upset is that I have tried to download this article a few times as my last computer has died a sad lonely viral death.
When I think of the tradgedy of the computer, excited, I loaded the latest photos that are yet to be seen of the millinery award. Fantastic! Every milliner had such a distinctive look and feel to their craftsmanship it was hard to pick one from the other. Wonderful materials had been used and these creations, you could see the hours and sometimes frustration that has gone into the making of these masterpieces.
A huge congratulations to all for such a beautiful millinery spectacular to showcase to all of Melbourne and of course the top 10.
Rebecca Share took out the most coveted prize for milliners over Spring Racing Carnival, winning and Louise Macdonald Runner Up, with Mandy Murphy comeing in a very tidy 3rd.
I had no idea how the judges picked one from the other they were all splendid. Thank you to all the contestants for giving us such beautiful head candy to dream about. Enjoy.
