Rosehill Gardens this year has abandon the tradition of 'Fashions on the Field' or could we say gone back to basics as 'Fashion Spotters' were how this competition started.
There have been mixed views on how this was run, but looking at the photos I think it looks fantastic. Professional with judges including Neil Grigg who knows Millinery inside and out, so a great hat is going to be paramount to contestants.
I was not sure if all ladies were going to have glory to stand on a stage and feel fantastic, but “Yes”, they had a chance to showcase.
This is still fantastic for all ladies heading to the races, but will it deter from many hopping up and having a go?
I feel with the four judges, it was a fair competition, although I am not a huge fan when it comes to 'Social Media' who is the most popular vote.
In saying this, I totally loved Breanna Davies outfit and her hat was stunning. A big Congratulations to you. I was totally in love with Petra Nolan's outfit who always cuts a beautiful line.
Social Media and Votes to win do give the chance for the competition to pay for itself, but it was a wonderful response when Breanna won with her really taken back and her mouth literally dropped. Breanna, you are a wonderful competitor as all ladies in this competition looked wonderful in there race wear attire showcasing what we all love so much.
Rosehill Gardens, you did a brilliant job, showcasing another look to this fashion competition.
